Notice: Please do not use for Hitbox

If you desire to convert an existing 5-pin based Fightstick to Hitbox, or want to use our 20-Pin Joystick/Button Harness with JLF attachment to build a Hitbox, then please choose 5-Pin HitBox Conversion Harness.

The .187" to 5-pin conversion harness allows you to install a fasten-type microswitch-based joystick - such as the Crown 303-FK, 303-N, or Sanwa JLF-TRG-8YTH.SK Silent Microswitch Joystick - to a Sanwa JLF-H type harness for use in commercial joysticks such as the Madcatz TE or QanBa Q4RAF.

Unlike the Sanwa JLF or Seimitsu LS-X-01 series joysticks which use a 5-pin harness to connect to the joystick motherboard, fasten-type joysticks uses a .187" connection for each microswitch - one for each directional control signals, and one for ground.  The conversion harness allows you to convert the .187" signal and ground to the 5-pin interface of most commercial and some prebuilt custom joysticks which use the Sanwa JLF-H harness.

Installing Conversion Harness into QanBa Q4RAF/Eightarc Fusion

The Qanba Q4RAF and Eightarc Fusion or Synthesis Fightstick uses a different wiring configuration and color scheme than default Sanwa joysticks and JLF-H harness.  To help you properly install the Crown 303-FK using the conversion harness, we created a handy guide.  You can view it in the product photo gallery, or download a PDF version

    1. Simple and useful

Crucial wiring when you want to install a Korean lever into your stick. It`s pretty easy to install, just follow the instructions. I used this harness for my Crown 309mj and Myoungshin. Some people said the harness wasn`t long enough but I had zero problems with these levers. on Oct 6th 2019

    2. It just works

just plug it in and boom you're done. Make sure to follow the instructions. Used it on my qanba q4 raf on Jun 14th 2019

    3. Works like a charm

This works perfectly although I wish it came with some type of instructions instead of me looking it up on Sep 15th 2018

    4. Perfect

Very easy to set up, very clean and small fitting to the stick as to not get in the way or have any slack wires hanging around. on Dec 19th 2017

    5. Does the job

Fit perfectly in the Qanba Dragon, no problems in particular. on Nov 23rd 2017

    6. Just what I needed

I got this for my razer panthera fightstick installing the crown-mj 309. It arrived much quicker than I expected. The only downside is that these are not QD and had a tough time getting them off, but it's my fault for not realizing they weren't QD. But overall I have been happy with every purchase I've made from focusattack on Aug 17th 2017

    7. Made converting my stick so easy

I had a Qanba stick with Sanwa parts and I wanted to change the lever to a Korean type lever. This harness was easy to install and worked like a charm. You may try youtube tutorials if it's a challenge for you to install. on Jan 25th 2017

    8. Satisfied

It works well on the Myoungshin Fanta I purchased. on Nov 3rd 2016

    9. Works great

Works perfectly, I wish the cables were a little longer but they fit snugly which is probably for the best, since you don't want things moving around in your case. on Apr 20th 2016

    10. .187 to 5-pin Conversion Harness review

I use the .187 to 5-pin to hook up my Crown CWL-303N-KMS Korean Joystick. I follow the instruction on the youtube Focusattack channel step by step. I was able to get it working.
My only complaint is that its a little to short. I understand that it needs to fit around so that its not in the way of any movement. Half the time I was thinking that I was going to rip the wires in half because of how small and compact is around the joystick area. For sure its not for first timers to use this type of thing. If they make a little 1/4 or 1/2 inch long it wouldn't be too much as a hassle to hook it up.
