If you place an order for a personalized product along with non-custom products, such as arcade part or merchandise, please note that all products will ship together. We ask for a minimum of 7-10 business days to process custom orders and prepare for shipping, as we often have a large queue, and personalized orders require additional processing work. If you desire to receive your non-custom products earlier, then please place two separate orders. This will allow the non-custom orders to ship within our normal 1-2 business days.
The art cover replacement top panel offers one of the best ways to customize your joystick. The plexiglass sits atop specially cut artwork, allowing you to add or replace new custom artwork to match your joystick theme.
For those who are looking for further customization of their AFS Fightstick, or to display a complimentary illustration to their top panel artwork, bottom panel artwork is a perfect choice. This artwork is placed on the underside of your AFS Body, and secured behind the rubber feet. This plexi cover is required to protect the artwork.
Much like the top panel, installing artwork to the bottom of the AFS body panel is fairly straightforward.
First turn the entire body upside down. You can use a soft cloth or towel to prevent scratching the metal plate or any plexi/artwork may you have on the top. On the 18" and 14.5" models, there is a separate metal panel that is held in place by the rubber feet. Use a Phillips Head screwdriver to remove the rubber feet.
In the 14" model, the bottom half contains two screw holes. These screws, along with the four rubber feet screws are used to attach the bottom panel to the top panel. Use the same screwdriver to remove the two center screws.
It is here that you can install the bottom panel plexi, artwork, or both items - starting with the paper artwork, then the plexi top.
Please note that the bottom panel does have some play, allowing you to reposition the artwork and plexi a bit to align with it. If you see that the rotation or alignment is off, simply loosen the screws and reposition the plexi. This is especially true of the 14" model, since there is no specific panel for it. Once the alignment is preferable, simply tighten the screws on the rubber feet. If you own the 14" model, you will also tighten the additional two screws.

I placed this on the bottom of my AFS stick as an alternative of their "solid bottom" piece. You can use this to have a fully acrylic bottom for your case!
Make sure to get anti-smudge and scratch materials though, can be a bit challenging to maintain.
if you are up for that challenge though, it looks very nice!E

My main concern with using this as a bottom panel at first was that it wouldn't be transparent enough, and it might be cloudy. However, I was way off, to say the least.
Adding the cleaning/buffing towelettes for .75 cents is worth it because it's like a protective layer that tries not to let scratching occur.
HOWEVER, be careful when using the dry rag, unfold it completely and try not to add too much pressure, otherwise, the rough dry cloth will make a microscopic scratch. It isn't noticeable unless you really look, but you should handle the Plexi with care at all times.E
