Brook - designers of the growing line of Super Converters for modern and retro consoles, gives switch owners a worthwhile alternative to purchasing a Nintendo Switch-specific Fightstick or gamepad.
Full-Featured, Firmware Upgradeable
The Brooks Super Converter has several convenient features to improve the control experience.
- Accepts FightSticks, wired Xbox 360 or Xbox One gamepads, and wireless Xbox 360 receiver.
- Ability to hot-swap peripherals without unplugging the device from the console.
- Also compatible with Windows PC.
In addition, the Brook Super Converter is firmware upgradeable, which can be used to improve functionality, and add new features. Firmware updates are performed by attaching your device to a Windows PC, or Mac with Boot Camp partition or Parallels Virtual PC software.
2016 Tournament Acceptance
As of now, the Brook Super Converter is allowed by EVO, one of the most popular global tournament events. Often EVO's policies are adopted at smaller tournaments. This policy is a tentative acceptance - should the converter become disabled via console firmware update, it could face a ban. You can learn more about it here
WiiU compatible via Firmware
The Brook Super Converter can control WiiU consoles by applying a firmware update. This allows support for games such as Smash Bros for Wii U, Pokken Tournament, and Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Wii U. It also offers Wii U Pro Controller and Classic Controller support to play more than 140 additional games played on the console.
