The Switch - Nintendo's latest console - remains a unique entry into the latest in the company's history of non-conventional gameplay.  That said, there are many games that a traditional controller still works best, especially Fighting games and arcade style titles.  The Real Arcade Pro V Hayabusa offers HORI's original Hayabusa joystick and buttons, turbo function, and a 10 ft. cable, and is modeled after authentic arcade cabinets in Japan. Tailored specifically for the Nintendo Switch and compatible with PC through Xinput, the Real Arcade Pro V Hayabusa is proven to amplify the enjoyment of such titles as Ultra Street Fighter 2.

Hayabusa Inside. Low Profile, Matte Pushbuttons

The Hori Hayabusa Joystick features a v-cut cam structure that eschews the common bowl-shaped pivot of most joysticks.  This new design offers the following benefits:

    • Much smaller contact point between shaft and base
    • Increased responsiveness for faster, more accurate inputs
    • Reduced movement when extended in any direction
    • Decreased long-term wear between cam and housing

Included in the RAP v4 series is a new, low-profile Hayabusa matte pushbutton, designed to improve actuation speed on press.  Both hardware changes have become Hori's new standard, and to many, arguably edges out the Sanwa JLF in performance.

     Product Features:

    • HORI Original Hayabusa joystick and buttons
    • Professional grade steel base arcade cabinet
    • Compatible with Nintendo Switch and PC through Xinput
    • Officially licensed by Nintendo

    1. An excellent fight stick for your Switch!

This was the first fightstick I have purchased from Hori and so far I have been very happy with it. As others have stated it comes with a square gate out of the box and the joy stick feels pretty good for the most part (I will be opting for a octagonal gate personally). The cable is 10ft so you will have plenty of room to play with and the hyabusa push buttons are pretty sensitive so it doesn't take a hard press to activate them. It is a great option for the switch and it works very well with PC games. on Mar 23rd 2018

    2. Great quality, works great, and looks beautiful

The build quality is really good, has all necessary buttons for Switch, and has extra features too. There is plenty of room inside for the cord. On my other joysticks, it's difficult to get the cord to fit in the compartment.

My only complaint is the restrictor plate. I personally don't like square plates. Switching it over to octagonal was extremely easy though... and it only costs a few dollars. Remove the small sticker on the bottom of the unit to get to a screw that must be removed to get inside the controller.

    3. HRAP V: Best Stock Arcade Stick

Excellent stick right out of the box. The enclosure is wide, padded, and relatively lightweight. Perfect for playing on your lap. No odd pressure points even after playing for hours.
Buttons have a shorter engage distance than Sanwas, making them super responsive. Smooth travel and solid feedback. The start button is very easy to access. If it is too easy to access, there is a tournament switch on the side that locks it from accidental presses.
The lever is light and feels more similar to a Sanwa JLF than a Seimitsu LS-32. The square gate is properly centered, and engage distances at the edges and corners are consistent and predictable. Feedback is clicky, but the sound is muted a bit from the enclosure. Movement is smooth. Shaft is black underneath shaft cover.
Wiring inside is clean. Connections are properly terminated with heatshrink and not soldered together. Plenty of slack in the wires. Control board is tiny and common ground. Easy to dual mod or swap for a Brook UFB.

    4. Top Class Stick

This stick speaks for itself. I do recommend the Kowal octagonal gate and possible the 1mm actuator as well. on Sep 10th 2017

finally...we have it now【Switch】Hori RAP V Arcade Stick

Beat 'em ups are probably the biggest genre on Nintendo Switch thanks to all the SNK classics and ULTRA street fighter 2. But until now there was no fight stick! Well...Hori has answered my prayers once again. Would you buy one of these arcade sticks just for fighting games on Switch? Let me know in the comments!
